Friday Night Lights!
It is my FAVORITE time of the year! Friday night football is finally here! It doesn't get any better then Friday nights in Texas. I know some of you are thinking that I am crazy, and that you can list 100 things better than Friday night football, but it is in my blood. For as long as I can remember, I have been at games every Friday night...living the excitement and the thrill of being under the huge Texas sky and the Friday night lights. I loved growing up as a coach's kid and now I love being a coach's wife! This is a life that you have to love in order to survive! I can hardly wait for Camden to get here and introduce her to this life that I love. It is going to be exciting watching her grow up rooting for her Daddy's Bulldogs, Big Pappi's Pioneers and for her aunts and uncles. I hope that she grows to love the life style as much as I have. I know Jay is a little bit worried about having two football crazed girls in his life, but he will love every minute! Last night the Bulldogs opened their 2006 season against the Kennedale Wildcats. Kennedale is one of our biggest rivals and our achillies heel. Coming into the game, we were worried. We have several big question marks on our team this year. But, as always, our boys shined under the lights! It was a great game...the weather was perfect and we dominated from the start. This year Jay signals in the plays, so it is fun watching him on the sidelines. He is entergetic and very encouraging...the kids love him. Here are a couple pictures from the game.

The only thing better to me than H.S. football is the sport of baseball. What a great support you are to Jay because he doesn't have to worry about his wife hating his job and getting all pouty and such. God certainly knows what He was doing when He matched the two of you up, huh? My high school's football season starts next Saturday, and I'm excited for that. Congratulations on the Bulldogs' first win!
Ditto...support for Jay is one of the best ways to build him up.
I am so excited that Camden is coming EARLY. When I went in for my 36 week appt., I had no idea that less than a week later I would have a tiny bundle of blessing. IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!...tough at times, but AWESOME!

I can't think of anything better than a wife who also LOVES football (AND ALL WEEKEND) when her husband is a COACH! (Bubba, you chose a true WINNER!)
You two are in for a great deal of fun, and Camden will grow up to be a chip off the old block (Mom and a little bit of Dad too).
I just wish that I lived a bit closer so I could enjoy watching my YOUNG MAN coach more often and see Miss Camden grow up little by little (my heartstrings are pulling me that direction).
Mike and I love football, basketball, baseball (what season is it?) too, and we are so PROUD that TWO of our sons have chosen to be coaches. It is a mom's dream too, Miss Ally! Enjoy the coach's wife's LIFE!!!!!!!
