It has been a long, hard week! A little over a week ago, my sweet Saedee got out of the backyard and we haven't seen her since. The crazy strong wind that we had, blew in our back fence. Bowden was waiting for us on the front porch, but there was no sign of Saedee. Camden and I drove around for almost an hour and a half, before Jay got home. When he got home, he walked around the neighborhood for almost three hours...looking in backyards, calling her name and asking people if they had seen her. No luck. I know that some might not quite grasp the feelings or the pain that we have felt these last couple of days, but I know that many of you do understand. Four years ago, I would never had thought that I could love a dog as much as I love Saedee...there is no friend that is more loyal than a dog. Jay and I have watched her grow from a rambunctious puppy, to a loving and amazing mom. Two years ago, Saedee had 13 puppies...yep, that was 13! She was a very good mommy...often looking close to exhaustion, but she still loved and took care of those puppies. We called her Super Mom. We decided to keep one of the chocolate male puppies (Bowden)...he walks back and forth along the back fence waiting for Saedee to come home. The first night she was gone, he whined all night. I pray that Saedee has found another family who will take care of her and love her like we did. I am sad that Camden will never get to love Saedee like Jay and I did. We love and miss you Saedee girl!
