THREE

Why do bad things come in threes? Miss Camden is the recent victim of the "vicious number 3."

She has been a little punny lately and hasn't been sleeping or eating. Yesterday afternoon, her temperature started with a bang! We went over to the Tinker's house to watch the Super Bowl and Camden felt warm. When I took her temperature, it was 104.7. My heart stopped! How could it shoot up so fast? How could I be so clueless to the fact that my baby was so sick? I immediatly started her on Tylenol and Motrin, and luckly it helped most of the night. Her and I slept (if that is what you would call it) on the couch. The only way she will relax enough to fall asleep is if you are holding her. So, we had a long, hot night on the couch. This morning I woke up and took her to the doctor. My poor baby has the flu, an ear infection, and ANOTHER bladder infection. She has to stay home all week. My mom is coming in tomorrow after school to watch her for two days and then Cheryl will watch her on Friday. Thank God for Grandparents!!

Please pray for Camden. Specifically pray for her left ear, her achy body, high temp and her poor bladder. I know she has to be tired of being sick! She is definitly a trooper!

After a long, depressing post hopefully these pictures will make you smile! I love this baby girl!

Poor Camden! We'll be praying for a quick recovery! She does sound like a trooper and I'm glad she wasn't so miserable that she had to miss the Super Bowl.

you are not a clueless mom...children can run a high fever in the matter of moments...And you knew exactly what to do...cool bath, tylenol and motrin evey other hr. High fever is common with ear infections....Your a great mom...She is such a cutie, and best of all she knows how much you love her....

Hi Mav! I'm so sorry about your little cutie and the triple sickness. :( You're a good mommy!

Natalie (our little one) recently had a renal ultrasound and vcug testing for a UTI. Turns out, she has urinary reflux and will be on antibiotics for a year and then will re-do the tests in a year to see if she has outgrown the problem. We just started the meds on Sunday. I had never even heard of this!

I hope that Camden is better very soon!
