18 Things for 18 months...

Camden turned 18 months on Wednesday. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is so big and so independent! I hear "I do it" about forty times a day. It is hard to remember life before Camden. She has blessed our lives in so many ways. Jay and I ask ourselves daily how we got so lucky. She is such a joy. I laugh constantly and often go to bed with a side stich from laughing so much. The girl is a hoot!! Here are 18 things about my sweet baby girl...

  1. She got her gift of talking from me! She talks from the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to sleep. She often talks as she is going to sleep (anything to keep her awake). There are way too many words to list, but some of my favorites to hear her say are...cuse me (excuse me), potty (she tells me all the time that she needs to go potty, but has yet to do it while sitting on the toliet), mere (come here), hands (when she wants to hold hands), peeese! (please), whoa Daddy (when Daddy is driving crazy), hi boys.
  2. She LOVES to sing. The sweetest thing is when she sings at the top of her lungs at church (even though she doesn't know the words she sings the same note as loud as she can). Whenever I need a stress reliever, I put on one of her CDs and listen to her sing all her little songs. It makes me smile every time!
  3. She would eat hot dogs for every meal if I let her. (another trait that she got from me)
  4. Her favorite books are 5 Little Monkeys and Tickle Monsters (after we read Tickle Monsters she walks around as says "tickle, tickle).
  5. She likes to sneak up on people and scare them (I will hear her coming up behind me saying shhh. Then she jumps and yells roar). Of course, we think it is the scariest thing ever:~)
  6. She loves playing outside!!!
  7. She wakes up with some serious bed head!
  8. She loves shoes and loves playing with any shoes that she finds lying around.
  9. She got her love of milk from the Ocheskey side of the family (they have a fridge in the garage especially for milk! It is scary how many gallons they can go through in one week when all the kids are in town!) She would drink it from sun up to sun down if I let her.
  10. I think she has the sweetest profile ever. Her little lips, nose and eyelashes make my heart melt!
  11. She is a Daddy's girl!
  12. She loves to run and is pretty fast already! I beam with pride everytime I watch her run...and secretly hope that she will be a STUD track runner one day!
  13. When she starts getting tired, she loves to cuddle!
  14. She can almost sing all of her ABCs. (video coming soon!)
  15. She loves to watch Barney!!!! I often find myself with a dumb Barney song stuck in my head.
  16. She is going to be a world traveler...she had already been to LA, California; Destin, FL (three times); Gulf Shores, AL; Missouri, Arkansas; Lake Tahoe, NV; San Francisco, CA; and many, many places in Texas.
  17. She is a true Coach's kid! She loves to watch any sports! She can distinguish between a baseball, basketball, football and soccerball. She loves to be around the big kids and being involved in what is going on around her.
  18. She has a sweet personality! She melts my heart with her hugs, kisses and I love yous!

Quick note: I just linked back to my blog off of yours, but it wouldn't let me. OurBeaverDam is without the 'n' on the end... on purpose. :) Just thought I'd tell ya.

Kiss that girl for me! Maybe we'll bump into each other randomly at Target sometime soon when I'm in town!
