Who knew that I would grow up to love and miss Abilene? I love going back to Abilene. Everything seems slower and more relaxed. I can almost feel the stress melt away when I pull in to A-town. Last weekend, Camden and I headed back to Abilene to watch Cameron play a football game vs Cooper (my almamater). I was super excited for two reasons; 1. I love watching Cam play football 2. Cory was finally going to be home from Hawaii. The weekend did not disappoint! We enjoyed a pretty good game, enjoyed seeing lots of family, and enjoyed being a part of the slow pace for a least a couple of days.
Cooper played really good, and won easily, but Cameron had a great game!

I miss Abilene too, especially when I'm sitting in traffic for hours. Your little one is so adorable. She looks just like you. Are you going to the class reunion? Stacey and I are going as dates since our husband don't want to go. Hope to see you there.
AhhhI It is so true how much Abilene is missed. It is crazy since all I wanted was to leave but how I miss it now. Great pics!

My siblings having grown up in DFW think of Abilene as small town and call it Drabilene. They definitely don't have the same love for it that you do. :)

I use to miss Abilene but now get to live in the relaxed town. It is so good to be home. Looks like you had a good weekend. I am loving enjoying good high school football again. Matt loves to go to any game so we frequent Shotwell Stadium!

Yes, i love Abilene also. I love living in small town, I feel like life is so relaxed compared to where we use to live in North Fort Worth.
I so miss Abilene in the fall! I have so many wonderful memories of that home, ACU, long walks, fair parade, fair, Friday nights! Miss it.
