Better late than never

Ally refuses to keep this updated and I guess I have now been put in charge of doing so. Here it goes - We're now almost 4 months into this 'ride' and I'm not feeling too sick anymore - I don't think Ally is either. Not much has changed. We hope to find out if it's a boy or a girl in 4 weeks - that's the big day we are eagerly anticpating right now.

Also, school will be out for summer in 6 weeks - can't believe we're about to complete another year. Ally is wrapping up her first year as a varsity track coach and the girls love her. She gets aggravated on occasion, but she is enjoying herself for the most part. The extra time she is spending at the track only makes her that much more ready for sum, sum, SUMMER TIME. For all those reading this who are NOT teachers - Why do it to yourself? One word - SUMMER!!! We teachers may not, correction, WILL not ever be 'rich', but we do get a couple months off every year, and in my opinion - that's an even trade.

Stay tuned.

I was out of teaching for one year and I never did adjust to the "real world" schedule - it sucks! Plus, teachers need that time off to regroup - physically, mentally and emotionally. I used to almost be embarassed by the time off, but not anymore - I earn it!

So glad that you have taken over the post while Ally takes over the coaching duties for a short while...
I agree! School days are the best, because they DO come to an end and you send the little kiddies home to bug mom for a couple of months!
I DO work a few weeks in the summer, but it's really quiet w/o the kids AND the teachers.
Summer VACATIONS are COMING up SOON! I can hardly wait!
Love you!
