I HATE Being Told to Wait...

On Tuesday, we finally met with the pediatric urologist. We have been waiting for this appointment since November (who knew urologist where so popular?) I have been extremely anxious and hoped to have answers and a quick fix to little Camden's problems! I wanted to go ahead and have a surgery scheduled, so I knew we would soon be on the road to recovery.
Anyways, we met with Dr. Pinto and found nothing out. We talked about her tests, and what the options where. I told him I wanted surgery. I think he was kind of surprised. We talked about my medical history with kidney reflux and what measures were taken with me. He told me that Camden was my little doppelganger (she also has two kidneys on her left side...I wasn't near as excited about it as he was!) Okay...back to the story. After talking, he told me that he wanted to see all of Camden's doctor visit records, the levels of bacteria that were in her urine each time, medicines prescribed, etc. After he evaluated them, he would decide if surgery (at this time) was the correct answer. If he feels that there were better prescriptions that could have been prescribed or the levels of bacteria weren't what he wanted to see, then he wants to evaluated for a full year before deciding to operate. WHAT??? I was so mad! I understand that surgery is a big step, but I am tired of having a sick baby and a baby that is continually having to take medication to stay healthy! It is not fair to Camden or us! Please keep the surgeon in your prayers and that the right decision will be made. Please also pray for Jay and I and that we will have a peace no matter what the decision is; and especially pray for sweet Camden to stay healthy!!
